Maybe you miss some pictures you were used to see here.
I found during the journey of my own drum-making that it is a kind of
disrespect to make changes on other makers drums to 'pimp' them.
Every serious maker puts a lot of effort, creativity and experience
in his/her products. Therefore I wish I had left those drums
in their original state.

A selfmade banjo bridge of cherry and
ebony transmits the sound to the
skin
much better than anything you can buy.
This is a"biscuit" for a resonator
ukulele made from maple.
It transmits the vibrations of the strings
running across the ebony bridge to a resonator cone made of very thin
aluminium sheet that amplifies the
sound in these instruments. The base is
turned concave for best sound
transmission.
I am ashamed to say that this is for the
natural enemy of any bodhrán: It´s a
grip for a hunting knife that I made for
a friend. The grain of the Lignum Vitae
wood is exceptionally beautiful.
